While Brian has been deciphering assembly directions and mastering the use of the allen wrench, Carrie has been testing out the new rocker-glider, reading to the bean and training the cats not to jump in the crib. Thank you to everybody who has contributed to our "baby stuff" collection. We have so much baby clothes we're not sure we'll ever have to wash anything! Although, we have been informed that it's not uncommon for babies to soil and cycle through several outfits in one day...
And it has been a few weeks since we posted a picture of Carrie's ever-growing belly, so we though we'd include a couple of those. While some significant belly-expansion is occurring, Carrie is still nimble as a ninja on her toes. Okay, Carrie's never been THAT nimble, but she is still tackling four-mile hikes in our uphill neighborhood! (This is Brian bragging about her, by the way, she hasn't officially approved this post yet.)

I'm posting in the wrong area. This is a funny story too...but I was really referring to the "infant brain splatterage" story below. Funny..ha ha ha...only because it didn't really happen of course. Maybe if you can just keeping reciting, "It's just ketchup. It's just ketchup. It's just ketchup." as you mantra as you do to get through scary movies...
